Pointe de Grave

Built in 1860 and located on the Pointe de Grave in Le Verdon sur Mer (Gironde), the Grave lighthouse is very distinctive, with its square white tower and black corner chains. At the top of the lighthouse, an orientation table helps you spot the surrounding monuments and natural areas. - At its foot, a museum houses an interesting collection of objects relating to the Cordouan lighthouse and the Lighthouses and Beacons service. - The last wooden launch used to relieve the keepers at Cordouan is on display in the park.
