Little Prussian

The lighthouse was originally located on the dyke above the "Wremer deep", now directly at the harbour entrance of Wremen. The lighthouse was commissioned in 1908 as a cross-marker light for the eastern fairway of the Weser, after the Weser correction decommissioned in 1924 and dismantled in 1930. It was rebuilt in 2005 according to historical plans as a visitor tower at the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. It is also a branch of the registry office, e.g. for weddings, of the municipality of Wurster North Sea coast. It has a synchronised light white 10s, pointing inland and is no navigational mark anymore.
