Faro de Castro Urdiales

The Castro Urdiales Lighthouse is one of the most visited in Cantabria, thanks to its location on the top of the historic Santa Ana Castle in the town of Castro Urdiales itself. It has been a typical image of the town's port since it was first lit in 1853. The lighthouse features a truncated conical tower, 16 meters high, built of ashlar masonry, overlooking the castle.

The castle houses an exhibition hall managed by the Castro Urdiales Town Hall, and access to the walled area is permitted during designated hours.
