Kermorvan

At the heart of the tumultuous waves of the Iroise Sea, where nature roars with unrivalled power, stands a 20.35-metre-high guardian of light, a symbol of safety and majestic beauty: the Kermorvan lighthouse in Le Conquet. It is the most westerly lighthouse in France, at the tip of the peninsula of the same name, which is classified and managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral and renowned for its beautiful walks. The lighthouse is aligned with the lighthouses of Lochrist, Trézien and Saint-Mathieu. It proudly marks the Helle and Four channels. It's a privileged spot, offering a breathtaking view of the Iroise Sea. Once you've climbed the 77 steps, a superb panorama of the port of Le Conquet, Pointe Saint-Mathieu, the islands and the Trézien lighthouse will unfold before you. Inside, there are several floors, including the former keeper's room.

If you are in any way responsible for one or more lighthouses, you can contact us to have these lighthouses included on this website. The goal is to have as many lighthouses from all coastal nations in Europe placed on the map, so that many visitors can enjoy navigating the map or physically visiting the lighthouse stations.
