Nash Point
Perched on the dramatic Glamorgan Heritage Coast in South Wales, Nash Point Lighthouse has been guiding vessels through the Bristol Channel since 1832. Built after a tragic shipwreck on this rocky shoreline, the twin towers of Nash Point became vital aids to navigation. Today, one of the towers remains operational under Trinity House, while the adjoining keepers’ cottages—Stella and Ariel—have been carefully converted into welcoming holiday homes. Guests can enjoy sweeping sea views, direct access to the Wales Coast Path, and the wild beauty of cliffs, beaches, and coastal meadows. Just a short drive from Llantwit Major and other historic market towns, Nash Point is an ideal base for walkers, families, and those seeking a tranquil retreat steeped in maritime history.

If you are in any way responsible for one or more lighthouses, you can contact us to have these lighthouses included on this website. The goal is to have as many lighthouses from all coastal nations in Europe placed on the map, so that many visitors can enjoy navigating the map or physically visiting the lighthouse stations.
