Faro Mesa Roldán
Mesa Roldán lighthouse is 200 meters above sea level. Its tower is octagonal, white, and 12 meters high, while the lighthouse building itself is rectangular, white with ochre-colored cornices and finials. Its spectacular focal height of 222 meters makes it the highest inhabited lighthouse on the Iberian Peninsula and in the entire Mediterranean. This lighthouse and its surroundings are located within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park and offer one of the most beautiful viewpoints in this natural area. |
