Faro Punta Insua

Puertos del Estado (Port Authority of Vilagarcía de Arousa) is the owner. The company Turismo de Faros has got it under concession for hotel and restaurant use for a period of 35 years. The concession was granted in 2021.

Faro Punta Insua (Punta Lariño) is a building well worth visiting due to its architectural uniqueness and the beauty of its surroundings. It was built between 1913 and 1921 and is the work of the engineer Salvador López Miño. It is located on Punta Ínsua, a geographical point that helps define the entrance to the Fisterra arch and the Corcubión estuary.

Until the late 1980s, it was the residence of successive lighthouse keepers and their families, and since 2021 it has been adapted as a tourist accommodation establishment, becoming one of the most unique and exquisite hotels in all of Galicia, while still preserving its main function as a lighthouse.
